Wajir Residents Mark Eid al-Adha with Calls for Unity, Modesty and Responsibility

By Ahmed Salat Ali   Hundreds of residents from all walks of life gathered at the ICF grounds in Wajir County to observe Eid al-Adha, one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar. The congregational prayers drew men, women, youth, and children in a heartfelt display of community, faith, and spiritual reflection. Leading the prayers was Sheikh Osman Noor, who delivered a powerful sermon emphasizing the spiritual and moral essence of Eid al-Adha.  He reminded the faithful of the festival's significance—commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice for Allah—and urged those present to remember and support the less fortunate in society. “This is a day of sacrifice, mercy, and unity.
