Wajir Marks Grand Finale of 4th Annual Qur’an Competition as Governor Pledges Continued Support for Religious Education
By Ahmed Salat Ali The Wajir County Government has successfully concluded its 4th Annual Qur’an Competition, with leaders reaffirming their commitment to promoting religious education and nurturing young talent across the county. The colourful closing ceremony brought together religious scholars, community members and a host of political leaders from across the region to celebrate outstanding performance in Qur’anic recitation and memorization. Participants competed in three categories, with all contestants receiving awards in recognition of their dedication and effort. Governor Ahmed Abdullahi congratulated Abdullahi Abass, who emerged as the overall best student and winner in the 30th Juz category.
