Wajir Residents Mark Eid al-Adha with Calls for Unity, Modesty and Responsibility

The congregational prayers drew men, women, youth, and children in a heartfelt display of community, faith, and spiritual reflection. Leading the prayers was Sheikh Osman Noor, who delivered a powerful sermon emphasizing the spiritual and moral essence of Eid al-Adha.  He reminded the faithful of the festival's significance—commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice for Allah—and urged those present to remember and support the less fortunate in society. “This is a day of sacrifice, mercy, and unity.
