Eldas MP Bid 2027: Wajir Assembly Speaker Abdille Yussuf Courts Support from Fardanow Professionals

Abdille Yussuf, the Speaker of the Wajir County Assembly, on Tuesday held a consultative meeting with professionals from the Fardanow family, in a gathering aimed at discussing key social, economic, and political issues affecting the community.

The meeting, described by participants as productive and forward-looking, provided a platform for in-depth discussions on development priorities within Wajir County and the wider political dynamics shaping the future of Eldas Constituency.

Addressing the professionals, Abdille outlined his political vision and formally expressed his intention to contest the Eldas parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections. He called on members of the Fardanow family to support his bid, emphasizing the need for unity and collective leadership to advance development in the constituency.


“I shared my vision and political aspirations with the professionals and humbly requested their support as I seek to serve the people of Eldas as their next Member of Parliament,” Abdille said during the meeting.

He assured the gathering that his campaign and future leadership would prioritize inclusivity and community participation in decision-making processes.

“In my leadership journey, I will ensure that all voices are heard and that our development agenda reflects the priorities of our people,” he added.

The Speaker further thanked the Fardanow family professionals for their candid contributions and commitment to community development, noting that their insights would help shape policies and initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods across the constituency.

“I sincerely thank the Fardanow family for their continued support, honest feedback, and dedication to the welfare of our people. Together, we will work to build a better and more prosperous future,” he said.

The meeting comes amid growing political activity in Eldas Constituency as leaders and aspirants begin consultations with community stakeholders ahead of the next general election.
