GARISSA SET TO HOST 2026 DEVOLUTION SENSITIZATION WEEK

The national event is scheduled to take place from July 20 to 24, 2026. A delegation from the Council of Governors on Monday toured Garissa to assess the county's preparedness ahead of the week-long event.  The recce team was received by Chief of Staff Abdullahi Gedi, who chaired a high-level planning meeting attended by senior officials drawn from various county departments.
